Helping Create Success
Andorra: the little country in the Pyrenees mountains
If you are a winter person, if you enjoy snow and cold, don’t wait and book a getaway to Andorra. Even later days of winter and early spring, there is still some snow in the mountains of Andorra, especially well known Soldeu. It is my favorite and by its popularity, I am sure I am not alone. Soldeu has about 470 km squared, and offers great variety of ski experience. You can spend the whole morning and early afternoon on your ski, and try many ski slopes with different difficulties. There is also a place for you to relax, to eat well and of course, to drink excellent and inexpensive champagne.
You can stay in many different kind of hotels around the area. Obviously, everything has its own price, depending how much you want to spend and how much comfort you want to have. Right bellow the cableway that goes up to the mountain, there are famous hotels, Herrmitage hotel and El Sport hotel. Within reasonable walking distance (max 8 min), there are many other smaller hotels and apartments you can rent. Like I said, whatever suits you the best.
If you choose to rent an apartment there, there are few good restaurants and even a small supermarket that has everything one needs to pass a good time up in the mountains.
You can rent ski and leave them in the locker, everytime you go. No need to be dragging all the gear to your hotel or apartment.
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. If you are making mistakes…you’re Doing Something. “
Sport Hotel Resort and Spa Andorra
Three hotels with at least 4 stars, dominate the Soldau area in Andorran mountain range. Their perfect infrastructure makes your stay very cozy and worthwhile. They are ready to accomodate any of your demands, with excellent spa area, kindergarten. It may not sound as important, but for families with small kids, it can be a deal breaker.
If you feel like to have a little bit of exercise, there is a nicely equipped gym, spacious enough to have a good workout. They even provide personal trainer, for guests, who need a bit of guidance.
Spa in Hermitage hotel is one of the best I have ever seen. It’s built in the lower level of the hotel with a very nice view of the snowy mountain ridge. They even have a hot tub jacuzzi outside, in the freezing cold. It’s for the brave ones.
Great thing is that you don’t have to be a visitor of the Hermitage hotel to get in. You just have to pay the entrance fee. Trust me, it’s worth it.
Ski slopes of Grandvalira
Now that you have settled in, you can have more options to have fun and move around, on the ski. From Soldau, you can take a different routes to the neighbours, like Encamp, Canillo, El Tarter, Grau Roig or Paz de la Casa.
Tourist on ski: that’s moreless what can you get here in high mountains of Andorra. Without taking your ski off, you are able to see most of the parts of higher mountains of Andorra, thanks to the good network within the slopes of Grandvalira.
It’s also great to go with kids. They have instalations for the beginners, starting at age of 3. They are assigned to the Snow garden, where they can get their first experience skiing and playing around on the snow or with the snow. Our kids loved it.
We haven’t skied past years, so we just let the kids have that experience. So what can you do up in the mountain while your little ones are enjoying the snow?
Well, you reserve yourself a table in Clicquot Snow Club Grandvalira,
where you can get a tan and a really good service for a good part of the day. You can start at 10, and you can stay up there all the way up to 16hrs. That’s where the sun goes down, and you really don’t want to chill out outside too much, because it gets cold. Remember, no sun no fun.
Like I said, make sure you get a reservation, especially on the busy times of the year, their top season. Their VIP lounge holds up to 30 people. You can enjoy the top champagne from the Veuve Clicquot brand, one of the top ones in the business.
For a good atmosphere, there is also a DJ on site, trying to give the people a good time, while breathing fresh air, drinking top champagne and taking some sun.
It’s a wonderful experience and you should try it with your loved ones or friends.
So don’t let the time slip away, Easter is coming up. Book you flight, and make it to Soldeu in Andorra for the last winter experience of the year.
Europe’s Christmas markets 2018: Daydreaming sites
Christmas holidays are around the corner, and feeling the spirits already in the air, I am going to share some of my favorite experiences throughout my years in Europe, from many different places. And with so many opportunities to live in different cities every Christmas, I had the opportunity to get to know one of the most beautiful traditions in Europe these wonderful markets, full of lights, colors and gadgets that make us children again. So do not miss this tour and get to know the Christmas markets of Europe that invite you to daydream.
Santa Lucia Market, Barcelona
This is without a doubt the most beautiful and classic Christmas market in Barcelona. It is held every December, with a wide variety of stands where you can buy Christmas trees, ornaments and typical food. It is also a place to buy a Caga de Navidad Tió- a character with a friendly face that is an important tradition of Catalan Christmas.
If you visit Barcelona during these Christmas you have an obligatory appointment to the Santa Lucia market, especially at night, when the market lights shine in the context of the impressive cathedral in which it is located.
Olde town square, Prague
Prague is a paradise for lovers of Christmas shopping. From the beginning of Advent until the beginning of January, the city hosts Christmas markets and although you will find them in almost every corner, one of the largest and most atmospheric markets can be found in the Old Town Square. The largest Christmas tree in Prague and the life-size scenes of birth add to the atmosphere.
In wooden cabins, you can buy traditional wooden crafts, Christmas decorations and other attractive local products. And no visit to a Christmas market would be complete without the traditional Czech Christmas cakes and pastries like vánočka, pleated yeast dough, half-moon vanilla cookies, gingerbread and other sweet treats. And while children enjoy sweets, their parents can try delicious drinks, such as mead (medovina) or mulled wine (svařák). And let’s not forget the tasty sausages of many kinds, czech bread and their famous Pilsner beer. The air is filled with all these smells and flavours, impossible to ignore.
The traditional Czech Christmas decorations are also excellent gifts. They include hand-painted ornaments, wooden or paper garlands and decorations made of straw.
Berlin: The capital of Christmas in Europe
Berlin can be cataloged as the capital of the Christmas market in Europe, thanks to its three famous and colorful markets are you ready to meet them.
Alexanderplatz Christmas Market
The whole of Alexanderplatz becomes every December a huge Christmas market with many small wooden huts during the festive season. Under the shadow of the television tower, potters, blacksmiths and glassblowers exhibit their work and Christmas treats, crafts and many more gift ideas on offer.
The centerpiece of the market is the largest Christmas pyramid in Europe, with more than 5,000 lights that add a festive glow to the seasonal bustle at Alexanderplatz. Visitors can enjoy a warm wine and hearty Christmas meals on the ground floor of the pyramid, while the first floor offers a wide panoramic view of the market and a band on the second floor. The classic upper part of the pyramid is decorated with carved figures, making their rounds tirelessly.
Christmas Market Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church
The extensive Christmas market at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in Ku’damm, in the west of the city, is a charming light and color. When leaving the train at Zoologischer Garten, you will find a maze of stalls that sell the most commercial part of the Christmas Market. There are many food stands and even brighter lights for you to be in a festive mood. In this place you will find 20 foot Christmas trees in the center of everything. You can also find a lot of Christmas ornaments or just walk around and absorb the atmosphere.
Visiting the Church is a pleasure in itself. Built in the 1890s, the large building suffered heavy damage in a bombing in 1943. The renovation of the Church, which took place between 1959 and 1963, still retains the fractured needle.
Dresden Christmas Market
The Dresden Christmas market is traditionally called Striezelmarkt and is the oldest in Germany, with a long history dating back to 1434. Its name derives from Hefestriezel, a sweet delicacy that centuries later is known as & quot; Dresden Christstollen & quot; (German Christmas cake).
The Dresden Striezelmarkt is located on the Altmarkt square, in the historic city center. It is surrounded by several themed Christmas markets, which extend to the main train station and Albertplatz.
Most gifts, toys and traditional Christmas decorations were invented hundreds of years ago in the Erzgebirge (Mountains of ore), when the supply of ore was exhausted. The Erzgebirge is located a few kilometers from Dresden, near the Czech border. Today, most of the Christmas markets in Germany are still being supplied from this region.
The traditional Dresden Christmas Market, with its romantic and festive charm, is an inspiration in itself, a true treasure of authentic handmade crafts.
All visitors will find Christmas pyramids, smoking figures and candelabra from the Erzgebirge mountains, printed indigo textiles and Lusatia pottery, Pulsnitz gingerbread, Filuen lace products from Plauen, Herrenhut Advent stars, and many others handicrafts.
This Christmas, I invite you to enjoy the wonderful Christmas markets of Europe. Fill yourself with joy and unforgettable charms on every street in Europe and enjoy as you deserve.
Barcelona was on fire this past week
So many cool and imporant events happened last week in Barcelona, I litereraly had to organize well to attend all of them. There were new collections being presented by some world class brands, new store has been opened in the heart of the city and the discount fever has begun.
GRAND DECORATEUR of the boutique by Christian Louboutin
Christian Louboutin brings us The Grand Decorateur, a brand new store designed in a bright red and gold colors, like it could have been different ones. On the inside, it almost feels like a giant doll house, with a wallpaper and velvet decoration.
The world class designer of high heels and red soles for women, Louboutin created a collection of hand bags and cosmetics. It accompanies his creative high heels of almost 16cm, object of desire by virtually every woman.
FENDI GRAN Opening!
The iconic italian brand opened its boutique in the most famous street in Barcelona, Paseo de Gracia, number 83.
With more than 600 meters squared, it is stacked with glamourous art and even exclusive furniture, such as red sofa Cipria de Frateli Campana, a round table of Dimore Studio and an enormous spider lamp, made by Bocci on a contract.
The event that opened Fendi’s first boutigque in Spain was held on Thursday evening and was celebrated with a DJ Miranda Makaroff.
There were over 200 guests in attendance, among them was Silvia Venturini Fendi, niece of the founder.
I really wanted to see Karl Lagerfeld himself, who manages the company for the past half century. Champagne wasn’t missing, obviously, and we had plenty of opportunities to get to know the upcoming new collections, for men and women.
To make this week a complete hit, La Roca Village has been offering a generous discounts. In some stores, it can rise up to the 20%. Valid only to the 4th of November, so hurry up if you want to spend smart.
For those not familiar with La Roca Village, it is an outside mall that consists of about 130 stores, most of them top fashion brands. All articles are already being sold on a discount from their regular stores, so if you can know off another 20%, we are talking about some nice bargains.
What more can I say? It’s been a week of fashion and I didn’t have to go to Paris for that. I love Barcelona!

Zumito!!!
One of the fastest growing and maybe the most popular tourist area in Barcelona is La Barceloneta. Located in the port of the city, Port Vell, it’s very accessible to the tourists visiting the catalan capital.
Port Vell is one of the oldest parts of Barcelona, but in the past 15 years, it has been a great place for the new venues, such as new restaurants, bars, shops, hotels and other special places with variety of flavours.
Turkey is home to infinite locations that are beyond your wildest dreams! Full of ancient sites, unique beauty, and unparalleled destinations, visiting Türkiye is an unforgettable experience.
One of the venues is Zumito, a Brazilian type of place that features healthy and fresh food and drinks. It has a modest space but very well decorated and you can feel the freshness just by sitting down at their tables and seeing the decoration.
With their menu, la carta, you can conquer your hunger or thirst by ordering any type of sandwiches or a Acai Bowl, their specialty that is very hard to find anywhere else. Many different juices and smoothies will take care of your fatigue and it will cool you down a bit during the hot days of the summer.
They will always ask you, if you prefer your drinks with or without sugar, since we all know the effect and the difference. The choice is there to be made.
Another ‘goodie’ is the fact that you can go online and order from there, in a language you prefer. I would assume that people wouldn’t mind of going to the port and going the Zumito, but if you work in the center and you have only 45 minutes to eat during your lunch break, ordering a take-out sounds like a great option. Like I said, it is a service more for the locals.
As far as pricing, in my opinion, it is not cheap but you definitely get worth of what you pay for. If you look around and visit other places (for sure none of them will be like Zumito), the price range is very similar everywhere.
You are in the touristic zone of Barcelona, you can’t expect anything cheap, especially from the venue that sells fresh and healthy food and drinks.
So, please, next time you are walking around La Barceloneta and you have a glorious view of W Hotel, remember there is a very nice and cozy spot that will serve you well – ZUMITO!
Penedes, heaven for lovers of wine
Penedes, heaven for love
The influence of the sun and the Mediterranean sea make the Penedès a privileged territory for winemaking. In this environment, enjoying the sun in the vineyards, walking through the villages and towns and discovering the great wines of their cellars, is a great experience.
Penedès is a county with a great wine tradition and it has become a point of reference for the cava and wine catalan industry.
One of my favourite things to do is to escape the busy streets of Barcelona into a rural Cataluya. Within one hour of car ride, you can visit Penedes. It’s possible to get there by car, train or some tour wine agencies offer a bus trip around some imporant vinyards.
Welcome to the part of Spain where Cava, food and wine are like a religion. It’s a place, where you can immerse yourself in wine making experiences and traditions, creating happy and lifelong memories.
For anyone who enjoys a glass of sparkling wine, and especially for those who like to understand more about its production process, the Penedès region is a special vintage just waiting to be uncorked.
Of course there are differences between Champagne and Cava, that both the discerning palate and wallet can note. However the production process is essentially the same, but of course Champagne can only come from the region of the same name in France. Cava, on the other hand, can be produced in a number of regions in Spain, but actually around 95% of it comes from the Penedès region, south of Barcelona. The name Cava simply means cave or cellar in Spanish.
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. If you are making mistakes…you’re Doing Something. “
FREIXENET
Türkiye is home to the freshest and tastiest fruits and vegetables since it enjoys a temperate climate with all four seasons. The food here is mind-blowing! It is a true culinary paradise!
Freixenet headquarters
Freixenet is a Cava producer in Spain, located west of Barcelona in Catalonia. Cava is a sparkling wine produced in Spain
Freixenet was started after the union of two Spanish families with a lengthy history in winemaking: the Ferrers, owners of La Freixeneda, a 12th-century farming estate in Sant Quintí de Mediona in the Alt Penedès, and the Salas, winemakers since 1830 and the founders of Casa Sala, a wine exporter to Latin America, in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia.
Freixenet makes a wide variety of Cava and I am sure that everyone can find the one type that he or she likes. Like our guide said, “The best cava is the one you enjoy the most”. It’s individual.
Torres
It was our second time there, but we have enjoyed it anyway. The tour was a bit different from the last time. Our guide explained a bit more the simple truth behind the company and its goals. After talking about the vinyards, the whole process of making different wines, we got to the point and offered (we paid for it) some glasses of wine for tasting. They were offering many limited edition wines, the ones that are not being sold in the supermarkets, nor in the special wine stores.
Founded in 1870 by Jaime Torres, Bodegas Torres (Miguel Torres SA) is a historical wine growing company located in Pacs, some 4 km from Vilafranca del Penedès, where the company has its headquarters. Torres trademark is a family winery with the most extensive vineyards in the Denomination of Origin (DO) of Penedès and the largest winery in Spain.
“Wine is one of the most civilized things in the world and one of the most natural things of the world that has been brought to the greatest perfection, and it offers a greater range for enjoyment and appreciation than, possibly, any other purely sensory thing.”
― Ernest Hemingway

The Caribbean awaits you!!!
Riviera Maya y Tulun
Today I wanted to be the guide through your possible next vacation trip, full of exotic nature, animals and sandy beaches. I am talking about a place of Riviera Maya y Tulun, land of rich history, and beautiful white sand beaches.
Riviera Maya
This famous riviera runs 140 km coastline of the Yucatan peninsula, from Puerto Morelos all the way to Punta Allen, up North. It used to be a fisherman haven, today it is a attractive destination for clever and also demanding tourists. There are many sites to visit and many things to see, so make sure you plan your stay accordingly. We are all different, and we all have our priorities, but I think that everyone should have good balance between beach time (pool time), and sightseeing.
Activities
There are between 6000 and 7000 cenotes, where you can enjoy snorkling and enjoying the nature at its best. Chac Mool, Cenote Sagrado or Tajma-hal, are few of the best.
There are between 6000 and 7000 cenotes, where you can enjoy snorkling and enjoying the nature at its best. Chac Mool, Cenote Sagrado or Tajma-hal, are few of the best.
Later you can go the Tulum, a descendent place of a Mayan civilization. Just visit the beautiful shores on Riviera Maya!
Tulum
In Tulum, you will find a park that bears the same name.
You will be greeted by friendly and warm locals, that make the place very colorful and gives it its unique character.
At the end, it doesn’t matter if you chose sightseeing or beach time, the Caribbean is a place to go, especially during our winter time.
Irresisteble to travel!
Things To Pack For A Trip From a Full-Time Traveler. Don’t Miss it
It’s time! One of my favorite times of the year, the nice long break between winter and summer, to take 5 to 8 days off. Many people make a good plans to travel around the Easter holiday, usually going somewhere warm to ‘recharge’ their batteries and to get away from the routine. They may go with friends, or with family, the younger generation also know it as a Spring break.
Bag:
you gotta know where you go and for how long. Size of a bag is almost as important as the things you bring along. Also very important, never to pack a fully packed luggage. Make sure you leave some spare space for the trip back, you might bring more stuff back. Scouting for temperatures and local tendencies on clothing should give you better idea on what to bring and what not to. I recommend to bring a carry on bag for the trips that are only 3 nights or less.
Digital (manual) luggage scales:
To avoid the nail-biting moment at the airport when your suitcase gets weighed, you should quickly check the weight of your luggage before you leave your home. It will save you from uncomfortable moments in front of the line of strangers, paying unnecessary fees, or worse, to be obligated to take out some heave items from the bags. No need to put more stress around airports.
Passport cover:
Its more than a accessory. It keeps it safe from direct harm, like water or food spills. Your passport should be looking new and the only way to find out how long you’ve had your passport, is through looking at the issue date, or skim through the pages and look for the stamps.
Luggage tag:
Did you know how is it so important for you bag?! Let me tell you, in case if your bag stays behind. With appropiate tag, the company can find you much more easily. Mistakes can happen, so take a quick second to double check the information on the tag. And dont forget to make a picture of your boarding pass (front and back). That way, if you lose your boarding pass, you have a record of your luggage receipt. (Ill write a a new bolog soon about it)
Padlock:
Talking about security, what makes us feels more confortable to know that nobody will touch your private things. This way, you can keep somebody from putting anything inside. You better cross your fingers that this will never happen to you.
Mobil, tablet, small PC:
You should chose whatever you feel the most comfortable with to travel. I actually own a Sony phone with 64 bits, so definitly if I am travelling for 3 days, depending on the kind of trip (bussiness or vocation) I may just bring my phone.
Camera:
Like i said just before, I have the sony phone with 64 GB, also it has 23 megapixel camera phone, so basically i have my camera inside my phone. And all my pictures you see on my instagram it is taken by my phone.
Bluetooth Remote Shutter:
Are you traveling alone or you don’t want to bug people all the time for taking pictures of you? Or you travel as a couple and you want both to be on the picture together? This simple device is a great solution. The Bluetooth Wireless Remote Control Camera Shutter Release Self Timer for IOS Android Smartphone Tablet & all.
Mini Cell Phone Tripod: ATTACH FLEXIBLE TRIPOD TO ALMOST EVERYTHING – due to the incredible flexibility of its legs you can take photos from any angle even in distance – due to the Bluetooth remote shutter for a perfect memories.
Music and movie:
If you use your phone as I use mine, you will need some apps for music and movie (Spotify, Amazon Prime, Netiflix).
Headphones:
I recommand to bring 2 pairs with you, just in case. The cordless ones are cool, but you always have to keep in mind to have them charged. If you have the plug nearby, then it is a better way to listen to your music or watch a movie.
Powerbank:
So yeah, after all things that I told you about using your phone and other advices, sooner or later, you will run out of your battery. Be ready and always keep one spare nearby, charged of course. It might save you some big troubles, especially when you really need to call someone or check website, or god forbiden, if there is an emergency.
Eye Mask or sleep masks:
Catching some sleep during the day or on an airplane with the lights on can be difficult (and the airplane sleep masks that flight attendants disperse often don’t cut it). Many still let light in, pinch the skin or slide off the face. Better have your own handyt!!
Vibrator:
Yes. I am not kidding. Going away from your man for more than 4 days, you might want to think about the lonely time in bed, far away from him. Wink!
Sports Shoes:
Today’s walking shoes are similar to runners and cross-trainers in that they provide breathability, cushioning, and support, but they tend to have a more casual style. So whether you walk for exercise, are planning a trip across Europe, try to put it all together sport walking and style shoes for a comfortable trip.
Have a good and safe flight!!!
P.S. Almost of the things you see in the list you cand find for great price in Primark, i dont know about the quality, but I have tried some of their products and they work pretty well. In case that you lose one of them, it’s not gonna hurt you so much!!!
