Located at the crossroads of Aegean, Central Anatolia and Mediterranean regions, at the junction point of Anatolia, Denizli has hosted many civilizations throughout history with its geographical location and natural beauty.
Denizli where you can see the traces of many civilizations such as Hittite, Phrygian, Lydia, Roman and Byzantium, is known all over the world for Hierapolis Ancient City, included inUNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Denizli, located on the fertile soil of Lykos Valley, has a rich potential in terms of historical, archaeological, cultural and natural beauties.
Patara was one of the heavenly corners of Antalya since ancient times, and has maintained this feature till today. In parallel with its sea, its tides and current, Patara was frequented by thinkers, pioneers and mystical aspects from across the world. This tradition continues in our days with visitors who come from across the world to explore the city and its famous beaches.
Thanks to its geographical and climatic feature, the harbour of the city has become one of the indispensable stops of the east-west maritime trade route in the south of Anatolia, and thus a first-degree determining factor in the history and development of the city’s settlement. The alluvium carried by the water of the 130 km long Eşen River have filled the harbour of Patara, which ended settlement in the city in the 14th to 15th century CE. Today, the desert-like sand dunes close to the sea provide a different atmosphere to visitors.
Cappadocia is a beautiful region in central Turkey famous for its fairytale scenery, cave dwellings, remarkable rock formations and, of course, the hundreds of hot air balloons that soar in the sky during sunrise each morning.
There is also so much awesome hiking in Cappadocia, that it will take you at least a week to explore all of the diverse hiking trails in the region.

I love the basketball lifestyle, especially since it allows me to travel and visit new places. Sometimes, these places I would never have thought of going. Now I can tell you about a place where little Gnomes rule. Do you feel like making the visit with me?
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. If you are making mistakes…you’re Doing Something. “
Let’s enjoy this magical experience of getting to know this wonderful city in the southern part of Poland. I tell you my dear readers, what a pleasant surprise Wroclaw has been!
City with many different architectural styles, an old part of town, new neighborhoods and places where time has stopped completely.
It’s a perfect place to spend a great weekend with family, or a nice getaway for couples.
It’s impossible to walk around and not feel moved by your surroundings. You might browse through many streets in this polish city, where there are as many as 180 bronze statues of Gnomes. These little creatures “rule” the city and it is one of the main attractions. If you want to make a collage of selfie photos with all of them, you might need a lot of space on your SIM card.
This beautiful city offers opportunities for adventurous types, like myself. River Oder cuts through the city and gives it the powerful image along with many bridges the cross quite imposant body of water. There are 12 islands that the river created within the borders of the city, and there are as many as 100 bridges that make Wroclaw known as Venice of The East. Where, of course, you can find another collection of Gnomes.
I highly recommend to use some comfortable shoes to go around because you can walk some serious distances, depending how active you want to be.
Wroclaw (Breslavia) (Wrocław) Ciudad en Polonia
If you are interested in architecture, you should visit Rynek square that should please you well. The more you walk, the more you get to see and the more you will love it. You will see renaissance and gothic facades of the buildings, some of them well kept, some of them, well, not so much. To my surprise, there was a lot more to see even outside of the city center, where you can usually find most of the sights to see.
And then, there is the gastronomy. Another positive thing about walking is to create appetite and there are plenty of places to conquer your hunger. You can literally find any type of restaurant with a variety of quality, just like pretty much any big city. Meaning, you can eat like a kind and you can also go low cost with pretty good quality food. Your choice!
I have heard great stories about club life and being able to go out literally all night, all the way to the morning. Unfortunately, we live in a pandemic and all the clubs are closed, but it is something that would really make me come back and experience it.
Maybe a visit as a couple will be in order once things get to normal. I can’t wait to be able to sit outside, drinking my beer or glass of wine, and feel the great scenery of the city.
I already know that I will be coming back soon enough, and anyone, who is in Germany or Czech Republic, should definitely consider visiting Wroclaw. You will not regret it!
When you have a career like Lubos it’s hard to know from where to start, but like always we will start from his early beginnings.
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. If you are making mistakes…you’re Doing Something. “
This time I want to introduce you to an incredible place, full of magic, with the most fabulous natural rock formations and dream tourist attraction that you can enjoy from the bird´s view. Meet me in Cappadocia, Turkey!
You know how much I love to travel, to discover new destinations and to introduce them. Now I am fascinated with this city, Cappadocia, located in the central part of Turkey. You can imagine a place surrounded by caves that came to be the living places for people over 4 thousand years ago. You may find cities well preserved underground. That sounds magical, doesn’t it? Well, all that and a lot more you can find in Cappadocia.
My trip to Cappadocia started in Istanbul where I took a direct flight by Pegassus Airlines. It was a pleasant flight that took about 1 hour and 20 minutes and I was able to see the central part of Turkey from the airplane. If you want to fly to Cappadocia, I highly recommend this airline, with excellent service and low prices. But if you prefer to enjoy theroads, or you get sick during the flights, you can easily manage to rent a car and become a road warrior for 10 hours.
Everything has been planned by Aygul and her agency Enka Travel Turkey, they have closed packages with everything included and they have the best tour guides too. It has been a fantastic experience, a very friendly and at the same time very professional treatment.
I stayed at a wonderful hotel in the city of Urgup, the Carna Cave Hotel. An unique experience, with rooms that simulate incredible caves, very in tune with the rest of the city and its attractions.
The hotel is very well located, with incredible places to visit around it.The hotel has a great location, with incredible places to visit around it.
The attention and kindness of its staff is one of their strengths, you will feel at home, they will make you have an unforgettable experience. I recommend that you make reservations in advance and request a package with all services included, you will not regret it because the hotel is beautiful and has impressive views the beautiful and charm Urgup.
Ortahisar is famous for its friendly inhabitants, picturesque stone houses, narrow streets and lovely churches as well as the castle-like rock formation after which the town is named. This 90-meter high natural fortress, a prominent landmark in the region – honeycombed with caves and tunnels, camouflaged by nature without the slightest indication of human presence inside – has partly crumbled away revealing some of its interior. Today it has been restored and the peak is accessible by a staircase. The Ortahisar Castle offers a magnificent panorama over the fairy chimneys of Hallacdere and the snowy peak of Mt. Erciyes.

If you are a traveler like me, who is looking for impressive places to visit, Cappadocia is the ideal destination. Known as the region of the balloons for its famous hot air balloons.
Do not forget to charge your cell phone battery so that you can capture the most impressive images of this magical city from above. And if you have a guide like mine, don’t forget to bring at least 2 camersas, in addition to a great guide, he has been a great photographer and knows exactly where to take the best photos.
Many influencers travel to Cappadocia just for the experience of taking pictures of the entire region from balloons or hotel shots. But you must take the forecasts regarding the weather. Turkey is a country of seasons and therefore the climate varies. The best time to visit the city of balls is in September or at the beginning of October, you will enjoy all the splendor of the landscapes with a perfect climate, neither too cold nor too hot.
One of the main questions is if to visit this place in summer or in winter. Any season is good to visit Cappadocia
But, there is much more to see and visit in Cappadocia. In each season of the year you will find attractions, if you like heat, visit the city in summer, but if you prefer snowfall, it is advisable to book for the winter season.
Cappadocia is surrounded by many towns, one with an excellent location is Göreme, an exquisite tourist destination from where you can easily move to the rest of the towns. Of course the most agglomerated also, but if you are looking for a less touristy and more regional town Urgup where I stay is a very good option.
If you like tours, there are at least three recommended routes, but the options are more varied in Cappadocia. You can get to know the city on foot, an ideal alternative for tourists like you and me! You can travel it on horseback, which is a wonderful option, in a Jeep or on a Scooter for the more adventurous.
If you want to know this magical place and not to miss the experience of flying in a balloon, I recommend you be patient and travel during low season so you will save some money. The month of July and August belong to high season and a trip to Cappadocia could cost you up to 400 euros, but if you wait a bit for the low season to arrive, your cost will go down easily as much as 100 euros.
There are so many fascinating things to see in Cappadocia that you could spend a lifetime here and still discover new places. The main ‘must-see’ attractions are the two large open-air museums and the best of the underground cities. However, there are also many small, all-but-forgotten rock-cut churches and monasteries, splendid hiking trails, several spectacular caravanserais and many dramatic rock formations well worth going out of your way to visit.
It will undoubtedly be one of the best experiences of your life, you will not regret visiting this magical place in Turkey. Cappadocia is the destination that I recommend.
PLACES TO VISIT IN CAPPADOCIA
Sometimes, we are so keen on making plans, short term, or long term, and we don’t realize that so often, life makes plans for us. Or in other words, we are just reacting to the situations that we are thrown into.
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. If you are making mistakes…you’re Doing Something. “
Right now, I am in the middle of adjustment to our “new home” that is surprisingly not located with the borders of the United States, as we planned. Instead, I am in Brno, Czech Republic, trying to figure so many different things, regarding my kids, school, getting settled and thousands of other things to be taken care of. Luckily, I am equipped with the basics of the language (for those who know little bit about the local tongue, IT AIN’T NO JOKE), so this transition is not as hard as it could be.
My husband took an opportunity to come to Brno to be part of the new project, to stay active during this difficult period of time. Covid 19 pandemic has been hard on virtually everyone, and like I mentioned before, it has rearranged plans for many.
So, I am here, at the outskirts of second biggest city in Czech Republic, looking at the field of sunflowers that are almost all dead. School just started, and our kids are thrown into a brand-new environment,
almost new language. New everything. But they are great, they do not sweat it as much as we adults would.
They are young, they adopt. They look at the bright side, and maybe we should take a note, and behave like them.
I feel truly fortunate that my husband has a job, we live in a safe place and pretty much everything is taken care of. Not everyone can say that. I am sure that Brno offers more things to do, and it is not going to be only about basketball this season. I am excited to get to know this part of Czech Republic, Moravia, the land of local wines. Let’s go!
“Paris is always a good idea!!”
Yes, this phrase is very famous and typical but so true. It doesn’t matter how many times i have been to Paris, I put my hand up without a second thought when someone brings up potential trip to french capital.
Staying in Paris makes me feel glamorous, fancy, romantic…hold on…the romantic part can be tricky because to be fully enjoying Paris on a romantic getaway can be quite pricey, so i would advice to bring your handsome to cover or share the costs hahaha…
Paris is very expesinve place, especially most of the places and restaurants that I like to see or to visit.
Last time in Paris, I was there with my BFF to celebrate a birthaday of our mutual friend. The whole 3-day weekend was amazing, and she showed me many places that I have never known before. Still, I have to find a cheap place within the borders of the City of love.
As soon as possible, I will write about staying in Paris as a couple, with kids on the family visit, and with friends. All of theses experiences are great and they are all different.
Ok. Let’s concentrate on what happened last weekend.
We stayed in Melia Vendome Paris hotel,my first time staying at this place and actually even in this area. I always drifted towards taking a hotel closer to the Eiffel tower or its vicinity. The reason was generally because I usually come to Paris by car.
This downtown quarter, District 8, is a very charming place. It happens to be the most important street with shops near to the Louvre mueseum and Vendome square.
We were just 5 minutes of walking from the Hotel Costes, which also has a great restaurant. Make sure that you have reservation here because if you don’t, the girls by the reception might have a bad humor with a slight bitchiness in their voices (female feud I suppose). Right, just a bad experience for my first time there.
Thanks goodness we had a great waiter who saved the day, gave us a better table and even better service.
By the time we had our glasses filled with wine, the unpleasant hostess was long forgotten. Afterall, everythnig went just fine, the food and drinks and our waiter was great!!
Coming alone without kids I had time to make this little trip outside of Paris, to Riems Champagne area, wordily known for its popular…hmm..CHAMPAGNE!
I was waiting and making plans for so long to visit this place, that I have enjoyed every single minute. I did my Champagne tour with Pariscityvision, which brought me to two different little towns, Reims and Epernay. Definitely I will do it again.
Back in Paris we had dinner at Matignon is a place that is both inspired and inspiring, with its restaurant designed by Jacques Garcia. And it’s a club by Charles Tassin. Just amazing from the begginig to the end, just a great pleasure to be there. Totally recommend this to you.
Next day on Saturday morning, I had my complete breakfast in our hotel and we went out to walk around. We saw some amazing stores around us, by the way, the new Loius Vuitton store is opened, after four years of renovation project.
Loius Vuitton made a great return to a place where it was founded over 160 years ago. Just on the corner of Vendôme square and Parisian street, there is very important fashion area, and definitely the best shopping place.
From there on we went to Armani Cafe restaurant. I must admit, we had reservation in another place, but it didnt workout and Armani was the closest second option for us. I called to make sure we could go in and get a table, and they just received us with open warm welcome. The food was fabulous, get more details on my Tripadviser profile.
As normal, it was time to take a nap, and to get rest and ready for the later party!! Sounds great, right! Since I didn’t have my kids around, I could move around easily without really paying attention to a time frame, schedules etc. (I absolutely love my kids, but I really needed that time for myself… let it go with the time, without looking at my watch or phone).
Let’s not forget why was I in Paris to begin with. It’s Birthday party time!
We had dinner at Manko Paris, which was a great ”success”!! And later on our party moved to a club called RASPOUTINE Paris, discoteque for the local elite, since you have have to buy a whole table to get in. Basically, you have to be a V.I.P. to party there. Not a cheap thrill by any means. But great music!!
Being the firsts ones to leave the club and make it back to our hotel made me realize that I am getting old. Or maybe more responsible, since I had busy schedule planned out for the following day.
Sunday morning, I wake up later than I wanted, had my coffee at Mandarin hotel, and actually, tha was a great idea!! (Guys, you should try the Mandarin hotel in Barcelona as well, situated in the city centre, Paseo de Gracia. It’s a 10!)
We were walking on the street Paresian until get to the avenue des Champs-elysees. It was a nice stroll with many stores opened (on Sunday!), difficult for a shopper not to buy anything.
Then we had lunch at Al Ajami Lebannese restaurant with the whole group from the last night and of course everybody showed up with a hangover and a story to tell. So much fun!!!
Being in Paris and not visiting the most famous landmark, the Eiffel tower, is straight up unforgivable.
So we took an Uber and we did the tour. Afterwards, we were walking around in the streets, chily but beautiful weather, we treated ourselves with an excellent crepe, perfect ending for my stay in Paris.
Au revoir

On the contrary, the cameras are more sensitive, just adjust it so that Capture images with high explosion and voila, you’ll have the best pictures of your lifetime.
I can tell you that there are pictures of Northern Lights that exceed what the eye Human can get to catch.
The Northern Lights are produced thanks to the interaction of the particles solar with the earth’s atmosphere. The clash of these particles with the magnetic shield of the earth attracts the poles and they release energy by penetrating into the upper atmosphere. That whole process is what produces the beautiful and hypnotic colored lights in the sky.
Now the colors of magic will depend on the atomic species of particles and the level of energy they release. Northern Lights with beautiful shades of greens have been observed, but also there are red and blue, even a fabulous combination of all those colors.
So if you are very lucky and you are in a place with altitudes of 100-200 km

Cannes is a place that delights in offering many ways to pamper itself, whether visiting the high-end boutiques, reclining on a lounger on one of the hotel’s private beaches, or sipping cold rosé wine on the terrace of a restaurant.
I’m Keilley Lee Marques and this is what I most enjoyed at the Festival de Cannes 2019.
During the 2019 Cannes Film Festival there is a drastic change in the city, more people than usual even more than in summer, which makes the local police close one of the main roads.
The Croisette is one of the most monumental places appreciated by the City of Cannes, the celebrities doing this walk their own carpet, where if you could appreciate an elegant and handsome Brad Pitt or Penelope Cruz with her hairs pulled back.
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. If you are making mistakes…you’re Doing Something. “
Where was the Cannes 2019 festival held?
What films stood out at Cannes 2019?
2 Another film that fascinated me was Little Joe, since it uses the genre of science fiction to reflect on what it means to be human: on the instinct of survival, the desire to reproduce or the discomfort of discovering oneself separated from the community.
3 The Feme de Mon Frere is another fascinating film that I enjoyed a lot, which focuses on the desire to tell the particular dynamics of the relationship between an older brother and his little sister. A relationship with very strong links.
4 And the last one I got very fascinating waas Portrait of a Lady on Fire (French: Portrait de la jeune fille en feu) is a 2019 French historical drama film directed by Céline Sciamma. It was selected to compete for the Palme d’Or at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. The film won the Queer Palm at Cannes, becoming the first film directed by a woman to win the award. Sciamma also won the award for Best Screenplay at Cannes. And I can tell it is deserved!!
What about the parties and fashion in Cannes 2019?
Cannes can be a film festival but, with a lot of gala events, lunches and later parties in the calendar. As an example Born in Miami in 1998, Nikki Beach is the most famous beach club brand in the world and opened its doors to big cinema events with a big party closing “Forever Young · 20 YEARS OF CELEBRATION”, Nikki Beach 20th Anniversary.
The gala of the American Foundation for AIDS Research (AmFAR), is also another very important celebration, held in the emblematic mansion Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, in the vicinity of Antibes, is the most important night of the social calendar of Cannes. It is famous for its extravagant auction (a stay at Palms Springs platform by Leonardo DiCaprio was at stake in 2016), and it was the place where Diane von Furstenberg’s disco catwalk show was held.
The Cannes Film Festival presented almost a fortnight of beautiful fashions, with haute couture as important as movies.
For me it was a dream come true to attend the Festival de Cannes 2019, an experience that brings you closer to the magic of cinema, to walk the red carpet where dozens of celebrities walk. I hope to return next year, so I’m very aware of my itinerary at @keilleylee on Instagram.
Until you’ve been to Cannes, it’s hard to describe to someone the magnitude of that festival.
Hello my love, today we will know the wonders of the mountain of Montjuic, in the heart of Barcelona, an enigmatic place that awaits three sites that I particularly love because of its landscapes that invite you to fully enjoy a relaxing day.
Come with me!
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. If you are making mistakes…you’re Doing Something. “
Our tour in Montjuic begins with the National Art Museum of Catalonia, located at the foot of Montjuïc, next to the Plaça de Espanya, which stands out mainly for its exceptional exhibitions of Romanesque and Gothic collections, which are among the best in the world.
I like all the different forms of art, from sculpture and painting to drawing, engraving, photography, coins and posters, which illustrate with great precision the history of Catalan art between the Romanesque period and the first half of the 20th century.
When you visit the National Art Museum of Catalonia in Montjuic you can not miss its collection of romantic art, considered the best of the world and comprises a unique set of mural paintings of the Romanesque churches of the Pyrenees, as well as famous sculptures, wood and stone carvings, metal works and panel paintings.
The cactus garden in Montjuic
This is a beautiful landscape to enjoy taking photos with friends and family. It is located on the steep slope of Montjuic hill, facing the sea and below the Miramar esplanade in an area called; The Morrot
The gardens are named after the Mallorcan poet and priest Miquel Costa i Llobera and it has an impressive collection of Cactus from all over the world considered as the most important in the world within succulent plants.
The cactus garden of Montjuic reopened its doors in 2011 after 5 years of renovation.
The gardens were created in 1970 in an old quarry full of land of old military fortifications. The entrance to the park is located in Plaça de l’Armada at the southern end of the esplanade and the Miramar hotel.
The garden is home to an important collection of cacti, palm trees, euphorbia and other families of succulents from warm and tropical climates. Most of the vegetation in this garden are exotic species, which makes it one of its main attractions, but there are also Mediterranean trees (granada) that coexist in harmony with Australian trees and American trees (palm and paper sotol) of sandpaper, which live almost without irrigation).
The central square of the garden, a very attractive place, captivates us with the desert landscapes. You can see beautiful plants of good size, with special colors and shapes and spectacular blooms.
The Castle of Montjuïc
During your tour in Montjuic you can not miss the famous Montjuic Castle, an old military fort located on the top of the hill. You will definitely love the views of Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea that are wonderful from Montjuic during the sunset.
Montjuic was originally a fort of the defense of Barcelona, but later strengthened to keep the rebellious Catalan citizens under control in times of oppression and revolt.
The outdoor grounds of the fort are used for many summer activities, such as archery, concerts and open-air cinema.
To get to the military fort, Castell de Montjuïc, and enjoy the panoramic views on the way, take the Montjuic funicular from the Paralelo metro station, then cross the road and take the Teleferic de Montjuic cable car that takes you to the highest point in the mountain of Montjuic and the fort of Castell de Montjuic.
Escape the routine, come and enjoy Montjuic, live life in big … I’m Keilley Lee Marques, see you next time.
