Actual Event: From Runways to Fittings
It’s finally here! Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week is upon us and I could not be more excited. For those of you who don’t know, Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week is one of the most prestigious bridal fashion weeks in the world. Every year, the best designers from all over come to showcase their latest collections. And this year, I am lucky enough to be attending as a blogger/Influencer!
The first show I saw was Yolancris, after that was JESÚS PEIRÓ and it did not disappoint. The collection was absolutely stunning, with intricate lace gowns and ethereal tulle dresses. I especially loved the dramatic capes that some of the models wore down the runway.
After the JESÚS PEIRÓ show, I went to check out some of the exhibits at the event hall. There were so many talented designers and brands showcasing their work. It was really inspiring to see all the different designs and styles on display.
Later in the day, I attended Marco&Maria, THE ATELIER, Demetrios show, etc. This collection was very different from the others but equally beautiful. It featured delicate embroidery and stunning beadwork. The silhouettes were also very different from what we had seen earlier in the day, with lots of fitted mermaid dresses.
After an unforgettable experience at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, I can truly say that I have a new-found appreciation for the art of wedding dress design and creation. From the intricate detail work on the gowns to the bustle of backstage activity, it was fascinating to see everything that goes into making a wedding dress come to life.
I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to attend such a prestigious event and to witness first-hand the talent and hard work of so many skilled designers and seamstresses. I know that the hours of dedication they put into each and every gown are what make them truly special.
As I reflect on my time at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, I am filled with nothing but happiness and excitement for what the future holds. I can’t wait to see what next year’s collections have in store!
Being a part of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week was an incredible experience that I will never forget. From behind-the-scenes fittings with brides to taking the runway, my journey proved to be challenging yet rewarding in equal measure.
The preparation process allowed me to become more confident and well-rounded as a model and appreciate all aspects of fashion week on another level entirely. It was truly an amazing opportunity for me and has left me wanting to pursue more endeavors within the fashion industry moving forward.
